THE STUDIO
Interior Design Studio Nic Graham & Assoc. was established by Nicholas Graham in 1998 in Sydney, Australia. The studio primarily focuses on hospitality, commercial and high-end residential projects. It was widely acclaimed after a prominent completion of the W Hotel in Hong Kong in 2008 and has been in great demand for design savvy hotel projects ever since. Nic Graham & Assoc. is celebrated for bold use of color and graphics and quirky memorable designs, while maintaining a hands-on approach in the finishing details of each project. In 2012, QT Hotel Sydney designed by Nic Graham & Assoc. gained international exposure and won many awards, resulting in a prolific partnership with QT hotels and creating a unique recognizable concept for the brand. Among the recently completed projects are W Hotels in Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur, QT in Auckland, New Zealand and the studio continues to work on new properties with W Hotels, Ritz Carlton, Marriott, St Regis, QT, Atura and Indigo both in Australia and overseas.
THE TEAM
The studio consists of a small team of architects, designers and technicians who are united by the belief that the best design experiences can be created by working with a great focus and dedication. Together they have collaborated on many well-known hospitality and residential projects in Australia and Asia Pacific region. The team is passionate about detail and frequently collaborates with local artists, crafts people, florists, graphic and fashion designers and even chefs. To ensure the best possible result and create a unique memorable design, the team closely monitors everything from the first sketch to the final handover and the setup of the interior design components, accessories and artwork. Their dedicated personal approach has helped them maintain lasting partnerships with various clients for over two decades of a design work.
STELLARWORKS FURNITURE COLLECTIVE
Initially developed for Australia’s pioneering QT Hotels brand, the QT collection is Nic Graham’s modern-day tribute to the mid-century movement. Drawing out retro details with a light touch, while allowing natural materials and traditional craftsmanship to take center stage, the range communicates quality without compromising its casual appeal. The QT collection and its slender, contoured counterpart Chillax make warm and welcoming additions to any contemporary interior, embodying the laidback, relaxed spirit of modern Australian life, with a wink to the pragmatism of mid-century Scandinavian design.
